volcomst0ne24
where and how can i run the wire now from the back of the radio to the outside to plug my ipod in?
Claw
whereever there's room. Tons of room behind the radio, under the radio, under the shift lever, through the armrest tunnel.. mine comes out the passenger side under the tunnel, but I'll probably cut some holes to route the stereo cable and power cables through to neaten things up a bit later. volcomst0ne24
i wanted to do thru the armrest area...but do i have to drill a hole for that?
Ken S
If you remove the center storage bin (comes off with the removal of a few screws), you can simply drill a hole in the bottom of the storage area. Next punch or cut a small hole through the "carpet" and you're done. Ken
suds2250
I took out the ashtray and drilled a hole. The cable passes thru and into my Ipod, which I keep on the passenger seat for easy reach. If I decide to change the location I figured the hole is easily covered back up by putting in the ashtray. When I park, i put my Ipod in the glovebox and can put the cord into the ashtray and close the door. 335HP/360Tq VF-22/1820 clone with Meth
