chucktoo
Hi For what it is worth here is a possible 114.3 conversion kit http://www.trackmonkeyracing.com/products.asp This is on my list of long term things to do. Thanks Charlie
MUD
Not bad.... but are we rock'n the same "weak" 5x100 setup as the 04 STi? Would it really be a concern around 300awtq? Don't get me wrong... the available wheels (Volk SF) might be worth it.... but you still have to fork over MUCH chedda to get the Volks anyway! chucktoo
The reason for 114.3 is the much larger assortment of large wheel. This is the same bolt pattern as 4.5" used by many american cars . As I found out recently getting large wheels for US iron can be cheap. I just bought a pair of alloy 17x10.5 for my Cobra for $381 delivered.
MUD
^^Cobra AND an Outback? Wanna adopt me?.................. J/P! ---------- Other than the larger assortment of wheels..... any other gains? USA 79S
i have an 05 STI with 5x114.3 and let me tell you, finding 5x114.3 in subaru fitments/offsets is a BITCH! Don't do it solely for wheel selection, the markets not as big as you think.
EL PAALO
I'd say selection is similar. maybe a little better due to the honda, acura, and lexus cars with similarly high offset needs, but not much.

USA 79S
yeah and when I do find a wheel I like I see "05 STI fitment" is + 65.00 ea. Hooray!
chucktoo
That is the question I ask, XX has 100% of the parts it is only a question of when they get them all together. Really can't use the car till snow season is over in the NE - April wolud be nice to get it back. I honestly expect to have the Cobra beofre the Outback even thougjh construction starts next week. They just finished one in 3 weeks that is a World Of Wheels in Boston this weekend. I expect mine will thake 6-8 weeks not months. Charlie
