mechdiff
I recently put Bosch wipers on my car as a lot of forum members suggested them. So far they have been decent, nothing really spectacular. But I have noticed that the wipers do not sit right on the defroster bars, is there a way to adjust the wipers arms so that it would leave the wipers in a better position for the wiper defroster to work. D-2.5-GT
is there something specific to these wipers which may be causing that? I've replaced mine with generic auto parts store ones and haven't had an issue. I didn't bother with the wiper insert, i just said the hell with it and replaced the whole blade. I lost the wind deflector on the driver's side, but to be honest i haven't noticed one bit of difference without it...even over 85+ mph.

To adjust the wiper arm a cap with a nut under remove nut but the wiper is probably pressed on so some kind of pulley needs to be used
rao
Loosen the nut and then tip the wiper up like you are going to wash the window; that will give enough leverage to move it off of the splines. Then adjust it the way you want it and tighten it. Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT
