GearJamr Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 So, my left headlight went out. Bulb is good, fuses good. When reinstalling the bulb, noticed the wire right outside of the connector is bare. Cannot get a new wire harness from subaru - discontinued. Will drop by the local u-pull, but just wondering if anyone knows or has a picture of where the wire is routed so I can grab the whole thing without having to cut/splice? Thanks!
tysparks81 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 From what I recall the passenger side headlight harness connects and drops down to go under your rad support/AC Condenser and then up towards your drivers side headlight, but it is part of the engine bay harness/engine bay fuse box there is not a disconnection point iirc. 1 #LGTSTi is still cheaper and nicer then an equal year wrxsti Follow my 2007 Spec B. GearJamr Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Yeah, a cursory look in my engine bay didn't reveal an obvious connection point. That's fine, my plan is to hit the u-pull and just cut off the section I need - the actual h/l connector and attached wiring. Then I can just splice together. Hopefully won't have to smack my headlight housing to get it to turn on. 1
