WTB - 2005-2007 Steering wheel controls

I acquired a damd steering wheel a few years back but the seller didn't include the control "blanks". As a result I haven't installed the thing yet. 

I'll also be installing an 08+ head unit as my CD player is pretty much dead. 

So this leaves me with a few ideas ranging from bondo up some garbage steering wheel spoke controls to wiring up pre-facelift controls to work with a facelift head unit. 

Ultimately the general shape and outline of the controls need to be 05-07.

I may still have the blanks from my 05-07 DAMD wheel, if you strike out on a set of controls. 

Also, I measured the resistance across each button at one point, and put that info somewhere here on the forum (my build thread, maybe?)… Not sure if DIY controls is in your project scope, but could be a good starting point. I know the physical layout changed for 08-09 but maybe they kept the same resistance values?

Mode = 333 ohms

Up Arrow = 600 ohms

Down Arrow = 1141 ohms

+ Volume = 88 ohms

- Volume = 190 ohms

Mute = 22 ohms

I’m nearly certain I have a set from an 05 Outback and 08 specB that I’ll never use. Think I actually know where they are too.

Actually if you have the blanks I'd love to go that route for project simplicity. If you have them and can find them let me know what you want for them. I think I've seen a write up on getting 05 controls working with the 08 radio. It's definitely not the driving force in this scope though.

Thanks - if Underdog can't find the blanks I'll be in touch. I think the 08s are a different shape, so they might not fit the damd wheel and 05 airbag.
