H33R0-GT
Ok, let’s liven the place up a bit. Who’s a simp for which brand? I’ll start. Over 90% of my boxes are full of Gearwrench, because I can’t stand paying name brand prices just so I can swap them on a truck when I can find one once a month, and not buying off the trucks saved me enough to buy my GT lol So, who is getting touchy feely on the tool trucks, and who is running something different that is good enough to put the big dogs on their toes? KZJonny
Is this in the context of DIY? Or is this working in a shop? I am DIY, maybe do a little work on the side for cash when the opportunity comes along, so I don’t really make money with my tools. But they sure can save me a lot of money. My tool boxes are mainly full of: - Mastercraft Maximum line hand tools. Socket, wrenches, extensions etc… it’s *pretty good* and some of it is actually GearWrench rebranded for the Canadian market. It’s also all under lifetime warranty if it breaks. Since there is no place in the country more than a 10 minute drive from a Canadian Tire, it’s a reasonable line of tools to use. - lots of Pro Point from Princess auto. Same same. It’s well enough made and no-questions asked return policy. - Bosch cordless tools - lots of the ‘second least expensive’ once a year tools off Amazon - Company 23 stuff or similar for Subaru specific jobs. H33R0-GT
Shop vs DIY crews might be fun. Interesting to see what people lean towards on both sides. +1 on the company23 tools for Subie stuff, you just can’t beat the quality, price or user friendliness. Definitely have the Amazon cyber Mondays set for my tool raids too
GearJamr
I have a fair bit of mastercraft and husky wrenches/sockets. Some stanley stuff. I'm not picky, whatever I can get my hands on when I need something.
