Drakuun
That Chop doesn't look to bad- I mean- It could look worse I suppose. I think though that Suby won't even go that far, I think they'll end up doing something more along the lines of the Blitzen look ala New Forester- more flush grille with the headlights/bumpers. Then again... if you were Suby and you really wanted to tie all your product lines together wity a 'look' Then adding that look to the OB/Legacy platform would accomplish that for sure. Being as the OB is the most popular Suby - I wonder why they've waited to restyle them till last?
SUBE555
Opie, if it's like what I remember last year in Detroit, they had like SPT stuff in the basement with a couple of simulators and the actual Subaru display was up on the main floor of Cobo Hall. One way or the other, I'll be seeing it in about 10 days.
PhilT
Agreed. I'm debating getting a new 05 MT LGT Limited wagon to be modded to Cobb stage 2, and perhaps suspension mods vs. waiting for the 07s. Rumors of an STI hatchback, 6 Sp MT on the Legacys are tantilizing. My dream would be a LGT Limited wagon with the STI engine and transmission. I have been considering the Spec B, also, but disappointed with lack of engine upgrade, necessity of the Nav system, same old 5 spd MT. Links to these rumours ? Believe nothing that you read on the intraweb, and half of what you read in the press. It's not going to happen anytime soon. If your dream is to have a MT wagn, and you are in a position to purchase right now, I would move quickly, there are a few left in the US, and hundreds in Canada. As for the 6 speed, the LGT really doesn't need it, with the torque band we have, 5 is all you need. Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon
The B4
Being as the OB is the most popular Suby - I wonder why they've waited to restyle them till last? Most manufacturers will experiment with less popular models before they apply a controversial design language to the bread and butter. BMW is a good example [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
mach_six
When people buy a car, the look of it shouldn't have to grow on you. I still don't like it and if they make cars like that in the future, that's the last subaru I'll buy.
The B4
I've come to enjoy some "grow on you" models... Porsche Cayenne & Infiniti FX being a couple I'm sure that BMW's new styling has grown on a lot of people (although I liked it out of the gate) I would rather have something distinctive than bland as long as it doesn't look like butt. tintinet
That would be nice; however, when I first saw 02 WRXs, I thought they looked rather awkward, but after a while I started to like and even love the look of my 02 WRX sedan...... OTOH, I almost bought a 06 STI, but passed, at least in part 'cause of the appearance (front end and rear wing), and I immediately liked the 05 OBs, Legacys. tintinet
I agree; however, there were other considerations. As it turns out, I'm getting an 05 MT LGT Limited wagon. Will be upgrading soon. Better for me overall given kids, ski trips, etc.

Longitude
That STi has Work Emotions I believe. That Legacy chop pic is ok, not nice, not repulsive. But it does remind me of my cousin's Suzuki Forenza front end a bit.

dark_rex
i still hate the new impreza grill. it's definitely grown on me, but i'd be looking into the aftermarket immediately fora grill that didn't have that weird "nose" look. dR
Hanger
i believe there's already a grill made by Syms, eliminated the middle part, just a big ass hole in the front ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
dark_rex
^^ link ^^ oh, and as for what the next gen looks like, if it resembles the concepts i saw at the focus group, it's a similar front end to now, only with more impreza lights. the grill isn't the same as the impreza/tribeca. http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25400&highlight=gen dR

Anibalz
Those are Rota Torque Wheels. I like the way the new Impreza looks, but I'm afraid the Legacy won't look as good if they apply the same treatment to it. Dunno, could be wrong. I just love the way it looks right now, specially with the short JDM bumpers. http://www.subaru.co.jp/legacy/b4/imgs/top.jpg
