parts compatibility

looking at a 1995 legacy gt that needs a new water pump so therefore needs a new timing belt and tensioners etc..  its the Japanese model and let me start by saying I don't live in japan so I'm wondering what parts fit this car and where i can get them thanks.

i have the same car and most parts are relatively easy to find because they are the same engine as the ones here in the us but often times if there is something you cant get because its exclusive to the japan model you can take it to an official Subaru auto repair shop and they can find the stuff you need. the hardest part would be finding the item number. one more thing to note is that sometimes you can find parts at auto stores like o'ryle  but it wont look exactly the same and might still work. i recommend you just find the oem part from japan to be safe
