subUwU_Libahhhty_EZ36
Hello all, I recently purchased a 2011 Subaru Legacy 3.6 and I noticed that I had light smoke exiting from the bonnet after a long drive on the highway. The next day, I noticed the same, but this time during my commute to work when idling at a traffic light. Upon inspection of the engine bay, I noticed that the coolant reservoir was around the LOW level, and looking inside the reservoir there seemed to be a brown sludge-like liquid (no brightly coloured solution was able to be visible, see image). Does anyone have any ideas on what may have happened? Cheers! 1.HEIC 2.HEIC
silverton
If you have smoke from the engine bay, something is actively leaking on to the exhaust. could be oil could be coolant, from the looks of that reservoir you may need a head gasket service.
