Whitesnake
I would like to get an Impact driver set. Does anyone know the lug nut size the 2015 Subaru Legacy has so I can get a set that would include it? If anyone happens to know the size of a 2019 Subaru Ascent also? Thanks. ammcinnis
The Gen 6 Legacy lug nuts are 19 mm (0.746 inch). I personally wouldn't use an impact driver on my Legacy's wheels ... except perhaps as a last resort when trying to break loose a seized lug nut. Max Capacity
FWIW, for putting lug nuts on, I have a 3/8 butterfly impact gun, it only goes to 70ftlbs. I paid $19.00 for it over 15 years ago, it still works great. I also use it to remove the bolt that holds the blades on my mower deck. Makes getting the three blades a piece of cake. Also remember to use anti-seize compound on all threads, I torque lugs nuts to 80-82ftlbs with anti-seize. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Engine Build - Click Here
