Installing Rear Camera for new head unit - which method to route wire?

I was thinking of routing my rear camera wire through the trunk, under the rear seats and under the center console to the head unit area. Any thoughts on why this wouldn't be advisable? otherwise I would need to route it through the bottom of the door panel or the headliner. I have an 05 Legacy Sedan.

I usually run the wire under the back seat and under the carpet along the door sill trim. There isn’t exactly a wrong rout, just depends on how much work you want to do

When I did it on the outback, I ran the wire through the factory grommet on the hatch and through the headline down the a pillar

I usually do under the door panels. It always works for me
