Yep, you will need to have a smoke test of the Evap system done. It will hopefully show the leak in the rubber hoses of rusty metal pipes at the back of the fuel tank. Replacing those have seemed to fix that issue on my wagon.

 

Sorry for not responding sooner, just got back from the New England Forrest rally.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

ank replaced. I'm sure all the rubber got replaced too. I'll have to double check.
