Will this inlet pipe fit?

I bought a used cobb sti inlet pipe which I thought was the correct model for my 09 outback xt. Turns out its this:

Aside from the obvious, notable differences does anyone know if I can make it work? I see the same count of ports. Just different locations. I know this is a tight install. Just wasn't sure if it's doable.

I'm thinking you're better off selling what you got and get the correct part. Think about long term.
