MontrealLegacy
For about a year, I experience this symptom almost every time I took the car out for the first time: turn on car, slowly back up on driveway with foot on brake, engine revs, lurches a bit, and then the engine stalls, forcing me to press the ignition to restart it. This happened in cold weather (Canada) and warm weather. It didn't happen as often when I drove home after using it for a while. And it never stalls when I was driving at regular speed. About six months ago, I changed from regular gasoline to next one up. The problem went away and I haven't had it since. I am posting this here in case it helps anyone. But I'd also like to understand what it was happening. Anyone else have this experience?
