CT05Legacy
I haven’t found anything from searching. The LH fuel injector pipe is starting to rot and leak fuel. Can this be replaced without removing the intake manifold? Item 13 in the image. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
rhino6303
Technically you could do it without removing the manifold but it would be awful. You'd save time removing the manifold. Also, if that part is so corroded, it's probably time to change intake manifold gaskets and maybe fuel lines as well.
CT05Legacy
Thanks. Some of the other fuel pipes under the manifold look a little rough too. Good thinking. Do I really need to drain coolant to pull the manifold? Do I need to follow each step in the FSM of removing the intake to remove get to the fuel rail? Seems coolant needs to drain because of the lines that go to the throttle body. But any way to keep most things intact just to get to the fuel rail?
