Gauge wiring behind fuse box

Trying to install my oil pressure gauge and running into a lack of electronics knowledge.

Running stri gauges to the cubby. I have an 08 and the clock doesn't have a violet wire. It's only a clock, not clock trip and temp so maybe that has something to do with it. Also where I need to wire in is pretty far from the clock harness just due to the gauge set up so I was thinking near the fuse box would be better.

I've looked through the wiring diagrams but idk what I'm looking at. I need 12v, ignition, dimmer (headlights?), and ground but can't figure out wire colors under the. I have t taps and quick splices so I wasn't planning to use fuse taps.

Bonus if someone can point to which diagram and explain how to read it.

Went down to storage to grab my multi meter. Seems like the easiest method is to just get fuse taps. The fuse taps didn't all fit where I had originally planned so this is what I ended up with.

12v constant = fuse 29 (named f fog on the panel)

12v switched = fuse 26 (the window fuse named ig1)

Illumination = fuse 16 (named Illumination)

Ground = bolt to the left of the fuse box

Load side on the 08 fuse panel is the lower prong so fuse taps need to go in with the wire pointing up, contrary to what I've read elsewhere.
