Outback2.5XT-05 Posted April 3, 2021 Share Posted April 3, 2021 (edited) RESOLVED While taking a drive yesterday in my 07 OBXT 5eat with the family all of the idiot lights started flashing, my AP3 reads 3 transmission codes (which I cannot recall the #s at the time). The access port does not manage transmission ecu function at all. I've had this exact problem 2 years ago, I went thru the usual suspects and ended up taking it to my mechanic. All he had to do was reset transmission ecu. Trans fluid is good, everything including transmission seems to be running wonderfully, but the idiot lights won't go off (tcu codes) and I can't switch to S# or hit cruise. I now need to learn how to fix this myself. I have the KKL VAG-COM for 409.1 as suggested here and a copy of free ssm v.1.2.5 but the cable's drivers won't load. It came with a mini cd but I do not have a cd rom that can play it. I've checked for drivers online but nothing I find is working on this box. Can anyone help me with this? I'm on Windows 7.
