So I Was Out Doing Doughnuts In The Snow...

Recommended Posts

Well, first real soft slick snow tonight...had to take car out for some cookie-cutting fun....

Had some good spins and slides, but typically after going backwards, and beginning to sweep back around to go forwards, but car would die!

Just blop, dead.

Then, after the 2nd time it happened, it wouldnt start! :icon_surp So, I took the key out and let it rest of 10 seconds, and then it started right back up....so yah....

Anyone have any ideas why my 06 LGT MT keeps dying? What am I doing wrong??

I'm pleasantly surprised... It was most certainly worth the couple bucks and 10 mins of my time.

How much gas did you have in the fuel tank?, you could have starved the engine of gas for a sec and it died
see above, prolly just had an air bubble in the fuel line fron the gas sloshing around and starving the pump

JDM'd All to hell

Thanks Jimmy @ Hkc-Speed.com!

RIP Coxx & Thanks

if you were spining backwards and had it in a forward gear with the clutch out, that's not good. That will stall your car and make all sorts of things not happy.

Yah, I'd imagine a fully engaged drive train spinning one way, and all of the sudden tires spin the other way.....well....yah.

I think we have a winner here....

^^^^^No fun^^^^^

I guess Im just used to all the Nabisco threads that end up with some idiot sliding their car into a pole, curb or someone elses car. Im just not sold on sliding my $30k car around in a parking lot.
