lookslikeanevo
^ agree that 150 is alot, but supply and demand kinda kills our chances, company has to make a mold, for only 10? damn i dont even if there will be profit in that copy and paste, and an honest price you would pay if it were available right now, and how many gauges...paste, and add your name to the list, so at least i have a general number... 1) lookslikeanevo, single, ~150 Current:MY05 SWP wagon - 253/290 UP, AEM CAI, Invidia Q300, tuned@yimisport OLD: MY06 GRP - 274/

coxx
I could probably be convinced since it's the holidays & since I need a single. I really like the look of it, very very clean. I guess I'd be in for $150 for a single. Standard 52mm gauge size right? "Barack Obama, mothaf#%@a! Barack Obama! dv8ingvector
Honestly, I would not pay more then 50 +shipping for a duel mount… I have bought 2 mounts from http://www.gaugepods.com that fit perfectly in my Monte Carlo SS: one was a duel gauge piece for between my tops and other was three gauge pod for my a-pillar both were 44.99ea+shiping…I guess I just could just not justify spending more... coxx
HUH? wait a min. We just went from $150 to $40-$60 if we get 30 people? that's a huge discount. dv8ingvector
again, its a different supply and demand chain, when it comes to parts for the LGT, kinda why some people who want a bov pay 200-300 for one I totally understand the logistics behind it…I guess that is why I don’t have one of those ether, the BOV I mean. Not trying to hijack the thread but if you are trying to get someone to make them up. That company can do it and there stuff is only $40-$60ea (most of which started as special orders by forums.) The problem is again, like you were saying they still require 30 or more and someone to take the time… lol: You beat me to my response. I am in if you can take the time; in fact you would be my hero! I can attest to there quality, but I don’t know about the time it takes to start a new product? For some pix of the ones in my ss check my VBgarage...actually they are kind of crapy old pix there. I will take some more when i get a chance
lookslikeanevo
HUH? wait a min. We just went from $150 to $40-$60 if we get 30 people? that's a huge discount. Something doesnt sound right there the 150 is just a number i threw up there, but form the link he posted, they cam do one, but need 30 solid people, basically prepay, and get things rollin, 30 is a hard number to get with a car like ours, so if you guys are up for getting the people then, im up for doing the rest of the work...let me know whole process while take an estimated two months to do, 4-5 weeks for molding and modeling, 4-5 weeks for production, and 1-2 weeks to ship, i have the patience, but am sure most people will not...and im not gonna cough up 1200$, i would, but there is no guarrantee that ill get it back but if you look at it, with 15 people we'll be looking at about a $80-$120 Current:MY05 SWP wagon - 253/290 UP, AEM CAI, Invidia Q300, tuned@yimisport OLD: MY06 GRP - 274/

MDTURBO
yeah finding 15-30 is gonna be tough to find bro. That timeline sounds crazy too. If they're a pro, they should be able to take a stock piece, mold a cup to it with clay (if that) make a cast, and vacuum press the hell outta them... all assumptions that's what they do of course. It's going to be hard to find even 5 people to invest in this without seeing a fitted prototype. Tell the manufacturer you want a prototype done to see quality etc before investing in a larger run, otherwise deal is off... it may make them change their tune. I'm gonna have to say i'm out as well if they wont invest in the idea as well. 2012 Forester XT. Stage 2+ Retired from Racing. I used to build FMIC and more. Rommel
Trying to get 30 comitted guys will be hard, I just did 5 special order grills and I got 5 people to commit when the grills came in, only 2 people kept their word to buy it and others, I never heard anything at all. lookslikeanevo
ya its hard, i wouldnt invest in something either but theres only one guy that can vouch for them so.. i guess it was worth the shot.... one thing you have to remember about their timeline is that, they probably have tons of other people shit going on, that, thats the time line they can do, ill email them see if they can get it done faster, and see if they will prototype first, so we'll see, someone ahs to do the dirty work...doesnt look like any one else is gonna step up Current:MY05 SWP wagon - 253/290 UP, AEM CAI, Invidia Q300, tuned@yimisport OLD: MY06 GRP - 274/
coxx
thanks for bringing it to our attention man. I'm a little disappointed that it's neither easy or relatively cheap. I really like that piece. lookslikeanevo
^i emailed them back about getting 10-15 people, and getting a faster time line, they said to send them the piece where they are gonna mold gauge pod, and they can evaluate from there...if i can get the steering colum for cheap then ill pursue it...we'll see Current:MY05 SWP wagon - 253/290 UP, AEM CAI, Invidia Q300, tuned@yimisport OLD: MY06 GRP - 274/
