Many thanks to you all for the insight on all of this. It sounds like I just avoided a huge financial mistake and can now pursue a slightly smaller financial mistake haha Crank triggers patterns are different between 5EAT and MT cars so make sure you have the correct pulley for the ecu you are using (I assume since the wiring harness is intact, the original ecu is still inside the car).
