boxkita
Hmm, maybe a Lucky Dog car...Shralp, I thing you buy it and let's go Lucky Dogging! that was my plan -run lucky fog until I had a good engine then start chasing 25hours of Thunderhill. I'll be sad to see it go, as still haven't driven it. ever. oh well Build my car Boxkita Track days

pdXammo
Put a mid engine LS, tub the rear and fox bypass shocks all around. Paddles and slicks and dune the hell out of it.
subie-roo
I wish I could pick this up but your price (which is low IMO) is twice what I can swing. Good luck with sale, lovely wagon
whitetiger
curious what this car weighs in at, fully wet.
boxkita
there's a strip of tape that says 2995, which would have been least amount it could weigh after a race. Gator claimed 335hp in a 10lb/hp class. Build my car Boxkita Track days
whitetiger
thats pretty good for that chassis, particularly a wagon.
boxkita
thats pretty good for that chassis, particularly a wagon. I think it is 27?? dry. Kip weighed everything when he stripped his wagon. Close to 400lb for the interior alone Build my car Boxkita Track days
whitetiger
tryin to think what SCCA autox class that would be in. F-Prepared I'd guess.
boxkita
the cage alone probably puts it in SM. add the gutted interior, fuel cell, etc. The original engine has a much bigger turbo, dry sump, and other goodies. I was going to put a processwest tmic on it and remove the drysump (although Sgt.Gator's current builder found, possibly, a working dry sump solution on the sti). Still the cage & gutted interior would be an instant bump? my street/track wagon still had its full interior, but the processwest automatically bumped the car to SM. I ran novice for a bit, but when I discovered the track my dollars per on-track minute dropped alot. In its current configuration with the whiteline catalog & zero-mile JRZ coilovers on it, there's alot of tuning possible Edited March 3, 2021 by boxkita Build my car Boxkita Track days

Sgt.Gator
The weights went up and down based on which class I was mostly running in. SPM has no minimum, ST is 10/HP, SST is 7.5lbs/hp. And I used to have ballast bolted under the floorboards (under the rear seat). Not sure if there is any ballast still there, I think I took it out to run SPM. BTW I had the JRZ coilovers rebuilt. The rebuild cost as much as a new set KWs. Boxkita there's a Track Subies For Sale group on Facebook, you might get more action there. I'll invite you to the group. boxkita
price dropped to 15k. Arcflash (Sgt.Gator's shop of choice for the sti race car) suggested the heads are probably in good shape as the timing belt failure stopped the car. Gator turned it over in the pits. have a Aisin tb kit... Build my car Boxkita Track days
