Senseless1
I have a 3.90 JDM 99 legacy 5mt and a USDM 08 3.9 5mt that may or may not have a working center diff. I'm using the 08 rear diff, which I'm reading is lsd. It would be nice to have a center lsd as well. I only need it to hold 350 whp for now. Does anyone know if I can swap them out and put the 08 center diff in the 99 case?
rhino6303
What are the numbers for the transmissions? If the WRX is TY758VW1AA, it has a viscous center diff with part number 38913AA101. If the JDM Legacy is TY754VBAAA, it also has a viscous center diff with part number 38913AA101. This is according to the rallispec pdf.

Also I was sold a "jdm wrx turbo 5 speed transmission" Per that chart and the search I did last time using the actual number I must actually have a JDM NA legacy 5 speed. I sure as hell paid wrx pricing. Make sure you double check the numbers on the actual unit when you're at the JDM importer...

Where do I have to be to see them with the transmission still in the car?It should be on the bell housing where the starter bolts through the transmission.
