Here's the HF tranny jack. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Berge56 Posted January 22, 2020 Share Posted January 22, 2020 Yes you can replace the real tail section of the transmission with it still in the car. Done this a few different times for various reasons in multiples models. But as others have said, you may want to swap the transmission or have your torn down and inspected as others parts of the transmission could be damaged or having foreign material/broken parts where it does not belong. artmor79 Posted July 10, 2020 Author Share Posted July 10, 2020 so finally after 6+ months i am finally ready to change this trans out... i have a few used ones around me, i see mine is TG5C7CWABA does anyone know if i am able to swap a TG5C7CWAca in to it? i see the final ratio is diff waba - 4.111 and waca - 4.444 (i think, lol) i'm guess i have to stay with a 4.111 cause of rear diff...
