Thinking about buying

Recommended Posts

The local Chevrolet dealer has a 2010 Outback with a few problems, but they're listing it for dirt cheap. The minor things are a burned out bulb and a missing fog lamp. The salesman was kind enough to let me use my scan tool to pull the codes out of the ECU. P0028 Intake Control Solenoid bank 2 (VVT solenoid on the back side of the engine) is another easy fix. And there's a leaking oil pressure sensor for the VVT on the front, another easy fix.

But that brings me to the worrisome part. Out of the ABS system, I pulled C0057 and my scan tool just lists it as "ECM Control System". Could this be related to the VVT issues or is this something deeper?
