Trying to install seat covers. 2013 Subaru Legacy When I did my seat covers in my car I didn't need to remove the back seats. I folded the back seats and slipped the cover over, and used metal hooks in the back to hold it in place. Bottom part went over the seat cushion and went onto the metal hooks behind the seats... dgoodhue Posted November 17, 2019 Share Posted November 17, 2019 You can just pull up on the front edge of the bottom cushion. I have never remove the upper cushions, but I think they are just bolted in, and you can access the bolts with the bottom cushion remove. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
