chandlerdoustou22
Anyone with an STI 6-speed swap figure anything out with the rear diff binding? After installing my 6-speed swap, whenever applying load while turning, the rear diff almost seems like its binding. I have added friction modifier but I have tried nothing else. Any help would be appreciated!

Chocoholic005
The 04 diff is a plated style, which is a more aggressive differential than the Torsion or Viscous options. There's no progressive transfer between locked and unlocked states, which might be what you're feeling? Sometimes low speed maneuvering can be clunky with these. chandlerdoustou22
Hmm.. Alright, it seems a little odd, but then again it is my first STI drivetrain I have ever felt. Thanks for the input! I appreciate it.
