cvt transmission at light

Hey guys if you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate your help. The other day my battery terminals were corroded on my 2010 legacy and I switched them out when I started the car the AT temp light came on immediately and it flashes 8 times in a row and then shut off and back on for 8 times I read that it could be caused by a burnt bulb but I checked and nothing is out. I live in Mexico so the closest subaru dealer is 3 hours away i’m sure it’s something electrical because it pops up as soon as you start the car and the car stalls a bit to turn on I have to give it some gas and it fired up I switched the battery see if that was the issue but no luck. Again if you could help me out I appreciate it.
