YeuEmMaiMai
Took car in for 667xx mile oil change and they noted the above... seems like they do not want to get extended warranty company to repair the car.. I am going to open a case with SOA but i am not expecting much...based upon previous dealings.. Needless to say i am quite peeved about this.. i might even get in touch with Subaru in Japan... Alexmed2002
I uploaded the PDF for the Oil Consumption agreement that Subaru agreed to incase you may need it. Never know, maybe it'll help...Subaru Oil Settlement Agreement.pdf
DrD123
Are oil leaks listed in your extended warranty as being something that's covered? are they sure it's timing cover (looks like a total pain to replace) and the head gaskets (obviously pretty involved to replace), and not a valve cover gasket? I would give SoA a call once you have an idea what the cost to repair is - I have had positive interactions with them - it's definitely worth a shot! YeuEmMaiMai
well regardless a car with 66K on it at the time of diagnosis should not be leaking anything at all and given the Subaru dealerships history of bad service, i am not expecting much in terms of getting this covered.
