Neodeus
Hello, I need to run power wire to an amp in the trunk of the car. It's fairly thick wire. I noticed the below grommet on the firewall. Does anyone know what it is for? Does it lead to the inside of the car? Would it hurt to run a wire through it? Thanks for any info you can provide. I know... I KNOW... I spelled grommet wrong in the pic...
SCASEYS
use it, drops in behind the pedals I donated to LegacyGT.com which allows me to have this nifty signature. If anything SCASEYS posts ever becomes a sticky i'm gonna light this whole place on fire
GearJamr
That grommet is free if you have an automatic. If a manual, that is used by the clutch pedal assembly. I'm guessing you have an auto if you can see it, so yes, go for it.

GearJamr
I had an 06 2.5i auto wagon. Ran amp wire through that exact grommet. Imagine my surprise when I got my 05 LGT 5MT wagon and went to use that grommet. Had to go through the left fender - not as easy a job.
