azm613
The tensioner plunger fell out of my timing chain tensioner. Does it need replaced or can I just slip it back in?

azm613
There was no failure, I already had my timing apart. I solved this issue, according to a local subaru tech you can reassemble the tensioner by slipping the pars together, just can't let parts go flying everywhere.
