mastermarkhun
Hi, My trunk lid stick out the rear. How can I adjust this? It's worse on the left. Thanks. Edited June 8, 2019 by mastermarkhun
Ilubeyousubaru
It looks like you tried closing the trunk while something in between it. I did the same with something on the side and mine leaks driving in the rain because of it. Edited June 11, 2019 by Ilubeyousubaru opened separate thread. mastermarkhun
not that mysterious.... https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/aligning-trunk-lid-92256.html Thanks, I have already read that topic, but there is no solution for the problem. On the lid side there are 4 holes as mentioned the above topic: "one hole on each side is a perfect circle and the other is elongated" So it cannot be adjusted here. The other side the bolts come from inside the cabin, I don't think it can be adjust there. It would require to disassemble the whole backseat part of the car. So something might happened there before. At least mine doesn't leak. But it's really annoy me... Edited June 12, 2019 by mastermarkhun
Ilubeyousubaru
Would you be open to making the holes elongated with a dremel? I couldn't find anything in regards to adjusting it in the body repair manual. Edited June 14, 2019 by Ilubeyousubaru grammer
mastermarkhun
Would you be open to making the holes elongated with a dremel? I couldn't find anything in regards to adjusting it in the body repair manual. Yeah, I had to do it like this. Not perfect, but much better than before. I will post some pictures from the result later. Thanks for your help.
