TMBLKDG
Forgive my tuning noobness, please. Give me an old American V8 with a carb and I can make it work but computer controlled turbo motors are a new thing for me. I'm buying a new turbo in the next week and have a couple of options. My budget is pretty stretched at this point so I can't afford fuel injector or TMIC upgrades at this time. If I buy a turbo that is capable of higher boost pressures & flow than what the stock injectors & TMIC can support, is it possible to tune for lower boost pressures for now to keep everything within the capabilities of the stock systems until I can afford to upgrade the injectors & TMIC down the road? Since the turbo is a pretty big expense and I need one now, I'd rather buy what I really want now and then upgrade the supporting parts later if that's possible. Thanks for your thoughts. Notorious
A VF52/16G will work with stock components no problem as will most other stock location turbos. Just speak with your tuner first.
TMBLKDG
Understood. I'm considering going a little beyond VF52. Looking at the custom VF52 JMP offers, which supports more flow and higher boosts than a stock VF52.

I have one of those, it's a lot of fun
