Mr-C
Hey gang, I've recently noticed my passenger side carpet and floor are wet.....event the ECU protective plate and under are wet/rusted. Anyone experience this before, any ideas where the water is coming from? Thanks,
ehsnils
If you have a sunroof - check the draining hoses for that. Also check the heater core so it's not leaking, in which case the fluid should contain anti-freeze. But in that case you'd also notice a drop in coolant level. Then there are a number of things that can be the cause and only way is to investigate all possible avenues for water penetration.
KRM
Also check the drain off the firewall on the passenger side. It can become clogged and back up the moisture from the evaporator
Max Capacity
Yep, most likely the AC drain tube. Blow it out from under the car, look up above the down pipe on the fire wall, you'll see a short black hose. blow that out with a quick air blast from a compressor. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
