05MNLGT
so the jdm specb 6mt and matching diff are sorted and ready. now looking at the clutch. the throwout bearing is damaged and will need to be replaced. clutch plate looks good. fly and cover are a little rough, should clean up. part numbers between them are the same except the last 3 digits. 5MT DISC COMPLCLUTCH 30100AA810 COVER CPCLUTCH 30210AA550 Throwout Bearing 30502AA120 6MT DISC COMPLCLUTCH 30100AA920 COVER CPCLUTCH 30210AA670 Throwout Bearing 30502AA130

Nonamedude
at race shop. jdm 6mt swap starts this friday. and you all thought subarus were expensive cars to work on. Lol maybe for m3 parts. But a long block on my e30 can be had for 500-1k where the outback was 3-4k. I've been floored by how cheap everything is when I got an e30. I love those duck bill spoilers on the m3 though. I love those duck bill spoilers on the m3 though. common e30 parts are cheap. but when you play with a e30 M3 evolution sport, which is different then e30 and e30 M3, it's painful, but fun. 2.5L not the 2.3L. Only 600 were made worldwide. stock it's 258hp N/A. currently at 351whp N/A. The long block is 5x the cost of your outback long block. Not a duck bill spoiler either. it's the evo3 wing from BMW DTM racing team. Edited March 25, 2020 by 05MNLGT

Jeffer
Are the front S402 fenders actually wider or just a different profile ?
05MNLGT
Are the front S402 fenders actually wider or just a different profile ? Nope. Subaru lied about them being wider for the fun of it. Of course they are wider. You have to use s402 fender liners because the usdm liners creates a gap. The s402 fenders are 20mm wider and the profile around the the curve of the wheel well is shaped different.
