Max Capacity Posted March 29, 2019 Share Posted March 29, 2019 You don't need a turbo timer with these water cooled turbo's. If you drive it hard just drive it easy for the last few minutes of the drive. I normally put my wagon in neutral and coast off the exit ramps after a highway drive. Even if you shut the engine off the way the system is plumbed it will flow a little water through the turbo, so I've been told. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
