Coilover options

Recommended Posts

I recently put new wheels and tires on, and whenever I hit larger bumps or dips or corner too hard my stock suspension isn't stiff enough to keep it from rubbing. Yet I have a fist of Gap still. Just trying to tighten and lower it a tad. Would new springs and shocks/struts help that?

I lowered my BE a little while back using a set of springs/struts from a BL (05 GT to be specific.) The rear assembly was a direct bolt in with the BL parts, including the strut mounts, and the fronts required the tophats to be swapped for BE hats, everything else lined up without issue. A great way to accomplish a lowering on the cheap, or to expand your lowering spring options, and would probably work with coilovers too.

The result on Tein H.Techs and some used stock struts:
