Scrappistomolgy Posted February 27, 2019 Share Posted February 27, 2019 Hi Fellow Legacy believers, I have a 1991 EJ22 in a VW Vanagon aka Busaru I have a recurring vacuum leak between intake manifold and cylinder head at cylinder no. 1 New gaskets did not improve this condition. Looking at the new gasket after first installation it is apparent the manifold is barely touching the gasket at cylinder no. 1 Case sealant on new gaskets did not improve this condition. Is this a common issue with EJ22 intakes? Do these intake manifolds warp? What else could cause this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
