ichian1
Had a 1995 Subaru legacy 2.2, that was hit by a snow plow, and totalled. Have been looking at some legacy wagons in the 2004 year range, due to price range. Are these engines usually reliable? It will be my work commuter, about 50 miles each way, up and down a mountain highway in maryland.
GEE-OTTO
You are looking at a 15-16 year old car you shouldnt expect it to be reliable without some money to ensure it will be. Generally the EJ251 is a very reliable engine as long as you keep oil in it. 150K miles on a rebuilt H4 is easy with proper maintenance. H6 is also a bulletproof option. Stay away from any turbo 2004 model.
