Security shock sensor

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I would like to install the shock sensor into my legacy so I can avoid buying an aftermarket alarm system.

Does anyone have experience with this sensor?

what is the difference between

and...

Seems like either fit but they are drastically different in price

I don't have the answer, but just a quick heads up, it looks like you'll need to go to subaru or find a shop that has a subaru select monitor to tell the security system to use the sensor.

You would be wasting your money and time to make an anti-theft install. The theft rate for the Legacy is so low that the chances of it being stolen are almost nil. You would have to help the thief by leaving it running (with a full tank of gas) at a 7-11 at 3 AM.

according to vehicle fitment either one works for the car he has listed under his name.

According to the official Subaru of America parts web site, item H7110AJ050 is no longer available.
