FranklynGS Posted January 24, 2019 Share Posted January 24, 2019 Its a long story, so here is the summary: 2006 Legacy GT 5spd with built motor and 207k on the car and 50k on the rebuild. Heads are now warped and because the car doesn't run and drive I can't think it's worth anything excepts the parts in it and on it. The interior is close to perfect (hard to believe, but I had Alcantara seat inserts put in about 2 years ago, Pioneer DVD audio, clifford alarm system with two way receiver...) Besides the engine being shot the miles have left it mark on the front suspension, steering box, and the synchros on the trans. THIS CAR IS NOT JUNK... but I can't afford to give it the attention it needs. It's been my joy and passion for 11 years and if just don't know what to do with it. Do I put it on Jack stands and rebuild it again? Sell it as is? Part it out? I'm writing this for any advice or anecdotes any of you may have.
