direavenger
I have a Harman Kardon Drive+Play on the way, and I just saw obxt's install of the display in the cubby. I would like to mount the display in my cubby in the same manner that obxt did, however I would like to construct a spacer around it to make it look nicer, more professional. The problem is that I have no ideas as to what material to use. Any suggestions? obxt's install: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21252 Drive+Play: http://www.harmankardon.com/drive-1/default.aspx The Dude - Two inches and counting... mccorry
I used Black leatherette to make my gauge plate. It matches the factory dash almost perfectly.

direavenger
Wow, very nice looking. I'm going to keep the cubby door on my install for a stealth (less of a reason to steal my car) look, but I think that will look great. Thanks for your help. The Dude - Two inches and counting... kevjam79
Mccorry, If you don't need the leatherette anymore I would be willing to take it off of your hands. I am getting ready to a Boost and Voltmeter install myself. Thanks in advance. Kevin

Guest *Jedimaster*
Is that leatherette something rigid or is it covering a piece of plastic or wood?
mccorry
It is over a metal backing plate.
