Above_Bored
So, my radiator blew on the way to work, causing a major overheat. Fixed it, but now I'm getting a P0026, running rough, and had a really bad stutter at about 4k rpm one time, not repeated. Should I be worried about head gaskets? 07 2.5i, 50k on the engine, 243k total (long story there). Running Royal Purple oil, last changed about 5k miles ago. No loss of oil that I've noticed, otherwise runs great, daily driver with a 50mi commute.
relative4
The P0026 is probably unrelated to the overheat unless you blew a head gasket severely enough to foul an OCV with coolant. Pull, inspect, clean, and swap your OCVs, then clear codes and test drive. What is the age, type, and level of your oil?
