PGleo86
Hi all, I'm looking to get a set of wheels for winter but want to keep it within the Subaru family. I've got a set of 215 45R18 winter tires that I want to keep using, and have noticed that 14-16 Forester 18" wheels seem to fit, but the offset is different. Will the difference between stock +55 offset and the Forester's +48 offset cause any issues? For reference, they look like this: Any experience is appreciated, as I'm a bit new to any modifications. Thank you!
Paul1017
Shouldn't cause any issues with fitment. A lot of aftermarket wheels are 18x8 ET48. I'm guessing the Forester wheels are 18x7? They'll sit just a bit farther out, but will work. Not sure about extra wear to the wheel bearings, but probably not a big enough difference to stock. PGleo86
Yes, the Forester wheels are 18x7, same as my stock alloys. Same 5x100 lug pattern. The offset is the only difference in spec that I can see, +55 for stock and +48 for the Forester wheels. Wheels specs are just a bit like black magic to me, lol
JmP6889928
Those will look good on your LGT. I think they would be a nice summer wheel.
