MrCobbs
Was this on the passenger or driver’s side? I had a similar issue and the drains for the sunroof were clogged. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
beardman
Wondering if there might be sunroof drains that are clogged/frozen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Isn't there a rubber seal around the sun roof? Didn't think water could get it when it is closed...

Just go to a dealer or call them on the phone and ask them how to handle that. They may ask you to come in and fix it for free. Always thought they was some kind of drain up there for emergency; but didn't think it was normal for water to leak through the rubber seal when the sun roof was closed. Never had a problem with any of my cars in the past, so its kinda strange to hear. But a quick google search pulls up quiet a few results, so I guess its common. MrCobbs
No problem and I would notify Subaru of America in case you may invite some outrageous costs as well. I doubt it says in the manual to “keep your drainage hoses clear”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
08SpecB_DE
A quick shot of compressed air into the sunroof drains is all you need to clear them. Dirt and grime builds up then clogs them. If you open the sunroof all the way, you will see a hole in the front corners, they are your drains.
