Tehnation
I was trying to figure out how I am going to mount the engine to the engine hoist, I want to be able to install and pull the complete engine. Is there a hoist mount that works for our engines? Couldn't find a specialized one just the generic leveler. If there isn't one, how do you guys hoist a complete engine? DaveWaters
I used the cheap harbor freight leveler with some quick links. There’s a loop by the turbo on a bracket and diagonally across I used the a/c compressor bracket for the other point. It worked well.

boxkita
Put a bolt thru the the transmission mount. Use shoot on the turbo mount. Tie a "tie down" strap to any surface or around anything. Get the harbor freight ratcheting tie down kit. It has enough strength to hold it. In a pinch, you can use a single bolt on the front. Having done all of these , the HF crane with the leveler tied to the AC mount and the starter mount hole worked best.
