Front Rear LCA Castor Correction Bushing Installation

Recommended Posts

The first question that comes to mind is which way is the eccentric oriented typically?

Just off the top of my head I would think I would be trying to move the LCA straight back?

You would be orientating the pancake bushing to either push the ball joint end forward or pull it backward. Depending on the issue you are trying to correct. What exactly do you want to know?

That should link to the original thread on the bushings.

Install thread for standard bushings, I think there is an offset bushing install in the 4th gen section that would apply here as well. Just a slightly different size otherwise identical in nature and function.

As per usual, on further reading, I realize that I have initially visualized this backwards.:spin:

LCA forward for more castor. Which is what I want to try.
