CE0616 Posted October 28, 2018 Share Posted October 28, 2018 I’m having a hard time finding a short...I have a second battery in the trunk for subs can Power a semi truck if need be. In the middle of doing the “Big 3 Upgrade” with everything wired up. I forgot to re-ground the main battery to the chassis...in doing so the engine ground starting smoking where it connects to the engine/tranny area next to the starter. Fusible link in the fuse box blew as well as the fuse from the main battery to the rear. Replaced them and now there is no power to the dash. Just hazards and the door beep when it’s open.
