SSpeed
I tried searching around for this and am coming up with all different answers and I also can't seem to find where it would be in the Subie parts categories. https://parts.bestbuysubaru.com/Subaru_2005_Legacy-GT-Limited-Sedan-25L-TURBO-5MT-4WD.html What is the model # for the 2005 LGT MT ECU? I'm having a leanness problem, tore apart the intake, cleaned injectors, changed fueling and it still persists. Tonight flashing failed about 5 times over before it took. I think it's worth trying an ebay ECU.
NSFW
Not sure about part numbers but I've heard that the ECU, BIU, and ignition keys all have to match in order to avoid triggering the immobilizer. Dealerships might be able to reprogram mismatched parts. I haven't dealt with this myself, so don't take my word for it. But do look into it. m sprank
You will need to have the immobilizer/BIU re "paired" to the new ECM. You will need the dealership for this. Swapping the ECM the car will not start.
