lmm0611
I have 1998 Legacy gt and it had a key fob at one point, I'm looking for a replacement key fob or an oem key fob. I have looked for them but I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right ones, can any one help. Thanks.

KartRacerBoy
It's store that sells key fobs. You're on a computer. You don't need more information than that. Go for it.
twisty
actually, the "more info" he may need is to get the fcc ID number off the back, do a search and make sure he gets one that matches so it will be able to be programmed into his existing system. KartRacerBoy
Or you can go to the store, see what cars the fobs work for, and buy the one that works. That's what I did.
Setnev
You need the Code Alarm remotes for >98 models, model GOH-M24, like this one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/332518388285 Then follow the instructions for Code Alarm System here: http://www.cars101.com/subaru/keyless.html

Just get any GOH-M24 fob from Ebay (doesn't need to be Subaru, I got one from a Mopar, but it's the same remote). Follow the instructions- super easy to set up to work with your car. FiveZigen
You can sometimes find them at your local auto wrecker. I have picked up a couple of them over the years and grab them anytime I see them. They are easy to reprogram or add additional fobs.
