On my '17 Legacy 3.6R, the housing of the license-plate lights is not flush with the trunk lid exterior, but is angled upward toward the rear (see attached photo). Is this how it is supposed to be? Probably one of those areas that's not worth spending the extra money on to make it look super pretty since a very small amount of customers will notice it.
